GBTGH

I AM SO BEHIND ON UPDATING!
And I'm too overwhelmed to go through everything that I have done. Soooo... too bad. Call me or hang out with me and I will fill you in on all the deets. Continuing on.

GO BIG THEN GO HOME. [GBTGH]
That's the belated declared motto of my summer. And it has done me wonders.

I am going to make an official statement: "This is probably the best summer ever."
Quote me. I dare you. It is the honest truth. I have met some of the most incredible people and campers and have had some of the best experiences of my life so far, and I am not exaggerating in any way.

Honestly, I am having a hard time writing this because it's making me realize that summer is almost over, my family here will be scattered all across the US and Canada, oh and Ireland, and there's nothing I can do about it.

On a more positive note however, living in California has opened up so many opportunities. Growing up in "the bubble" wasn't bad in any way, but it definitely didn't give me a taste of the real world. I'll be honest, I was extremely nervous about moving out here. I didn't know anyone, didn't know how the people here would act, and didn't know if I would find a place that I felt I belonged. And I will admit, there were times I was homesick, but am so grateful for this experience in so many ways. I feel like I have learned a lot about myself, and I don't think I could have learned it any other way except by being here. It will definitely be a summer that I never forget. So here is my PSA: THANK YOU. Thank you to my family for being so supportive, thank you to my friends at home for always being there for me, and thank you to my fellow staffers who are now family. [*SAPPY MOMENT WARNING*]I love you all so much and the experiences we have shared in and out of camp will never be forgotten. Thanks for everything you've done for me! It means more than you know.

For those at home, see you in three.
For those here, let's keep livin' the magic while we can.
LOTS OF LOVE!

p&B.
