Can I just say HALLELUJAH for sleeping in?
Let's just say I'm a huge fan.
On my wonderful evening off last week I traveled to a little city called Palmdale with a couple friends in a mustang. A RED mustang. JUST SAYING. Calli saw a buffalo for her first time which was pretty exciting but despite all the excitement we kept traveling and ended up going to BJ's which according to the Irish boys is a bad name for a restaurant [not quite sure what that means...] We then went to my homestore [kind of like homeboy but it store form] Target, and headed back for a bonding night in the form of Yoga. Needless to say it was a greatly appreciated night off and was super nice to just relax.
Orientation continued on in its regular fashion with some silly olympic food fighting and ended with a delish banquet to close the week off.
SANTA MONICA. I seriously love that place.
Orla, Corey, Kristen, Liz, Jon, Declan, Ian and I all headed to the beautiful Santa Monica for a wonderful day at the beach. Despite the e-brake being on for three quarters of the way down the canyon, it was an absolutely perfect day.
We started of at a crepe [pronounced "craps" right Orla?] restaurant, with this wonderful guy as our waiter. Orla wrote him a "Thank you kind sir!" note on a napkin which he kept in his pocket to treasure forever. Don't worry, we got a picture.
After dinner we visited the TPT office and walked around Santa Monica. And I'm just going to add that the weather was absolutely BEAUTIFUL.
Peter and Dec are so excited to be on the west coast!
Life can be rough sometimes.

How many people can say they have a Puma named after them?
Answer: Not that many. But I am one of them!
[Look at it's name! ^]
Today is Volly-O which means Volunteers come today and the kids come tomorrow! Woo WOO!
Hope you are having a wonderful summer so far.
p&B.
