Little Things

Hola, hello, nice to see ya.

Do you ever have those weeks that fly by and you stop for a second and realize that in reality, two weeks have actually passed? If you answered yes to this question, you can join my club. We have t-shirts and everything. But in all seriousness, I cannot believe that finals week starts in two weeks! Or that fact that I move to California for three months in a month! 

WHERE HAS THE SEMESTER GONE. 

Quite frankly the only thing that has kept me sane are the awesome people [including strangers] that I have been surrounded by lately. 

Example A: This was back during spring break when I was attempting to find my way back home on the California freeways. I needed to get off the next exit which was maybe 50 yards in front of me. If you know me, I get EXTREMELY stressed out driving places I have never been, and I was panicking. And it didn't help that the gas meter was reading below E. A kind man in a forest green jeep must realized my predicament somehow and let me over. He won the hero of the day award.

Example B: WalMart Guy. I was trying to back out of my parking spot today and my entire back windshield was covered in snow. Backing out+snow covered back windshield does not = a good combination. This random guy, a worker there actually, noticed my dilemma and helped me back out. He started waving his hand to give me the ok to go so I wouldn't hit the cars behind me. He saved me a lot of trouble and and embarrassing 13-point turn.

THERE ARE SOME SERIOUSLY COOL PEOPLE IN THIS WORLD.
