Let's start off with the little party down south. It was Shannon's birthday so we celebrated in style at my grandma's house. We swam, ate our weight + in food, ate cake on Dixie rock, played a hilarious game of truth or dare and finished it off with the movie Labrynth. We ended up sleeping over and sleeping in till about noon, which was lovely might I add, and headed back a little while later. We also played around with Shan-wow's camera and ended up with some cool stuff. Here are the photos to prove it.

Don't let me forget my bright idea to push Tyler in the pool with his phone in his pocket. I still feel bad about that one p.s. Which leads me to saturday night when Shan and I went to littlebigheart's concert at OTC. It was definitely an experience. The 3 other bands were all INYOURFACE-IHATETHEWORLD bands, but it was still fun.

We headed back to the dorms to see if Tyler wanted to do something since he was phone-less and drove around for a while. However uneventful that car ride was, it was still fun, and we went back to drink some hot-cocoa after almost freezing to death.
Sunday Shannon and I drove out to our friend Luke's farewell and luckily got there just in time to hear him speak. It was a beautiful day so we had no problem at all with the roads. We got back and I started working on my 2D project and cooking dinner for myself [which might I add I did not burn thank you very much.]
Now to today, an extremely relaxing day. A day much needed that's for sure. Got a solid 11 hours of sleep [score 1 for Dylan], went to the track to do some running [point], and was given food provisions for the week by my stellar grandparents [=no grocery shopping this week which = point. HOLLA]. I also went to Wal-Mart and picked up photos from my disposable camera experiment [point]. If there is one thing I love more in this world than homemade mashed potatoes, it's picking up photos from film cameras. You never know what you are gonna get, and that is what is so interesting about them. So fellas, if you want to win me over, take me on a date to take pictures with disposable cameras [you would score more points than I can count]. Just saying.

But continuing on.
Later today I went and explored with Shannon and found some cool little local stores. Little local shops are the bomb-diggity because they always have a ton of personality. Which is what I kind of love about Cedar. We stumbled upon a bookstore, an old-fashioned soda fountain and candy store, a record store, a cool coffee shop called The Grind, and tons of others. There's also a place called The Wizz that has a ton of cool-weird and random things.
And good thing my roommate isn't back yet because she would not be happy with this mess... but I sure am proud!

Finishing today off, I discovered this quote in a book I am reading called Saving CeeCee Honeycutt. “Life is full of change, honey. That's how we learn and grow. When we're born, the Good Lord gives each of us a Life Book. Chapter by chapter, we live and learn... When a chapter of your Life Book is complete, your spirit knows it's time to turn the page so a new chapter can begin. Even when you're scared or think you're not ready, your spirit knows you are.” College has definitely been a new chapter, and i am certainly learning a lot. A lot in my studies, a lot about living with strangers, and a lot about myself. But I am accepting this change with open arms. So here's to whatever comes next in my Life Book.
p&B.

I love everything about this.
